We're delighted to welcome Carl Fell to the Airship crew as our newest Senior Technical Artist. Carl joins us with 17 years of shipping shaders, pipelines and the custom tooling that lets art teams move faster without losing the look an art director signed off on.

Why now

We've been growing the tech-art side of the studio with intent. It's the connective tissue between art and engine — where ambition meets frame budget, where shaders, automation and pipeline tooling get built alongside the art, and where new capabilities get unlocked for our clients.

With Carl on board, our embedded tech-art offer for AAA productions goes deeper: shader pipelines hardened, custom tooling capacity doubled, and a senior voice at the table when a project needs the pipeline built alongside the art.
